India routed Bangladesh 120-26 and Sri Lanka overcame Nepal 65-44 in Thursday’s semifinals, to set up a clash in the final of the SAARC Division qualifiers of the Middle Asia qualifiers for the 26th FIBA Asia Championship.

IND - India rout Sri Lanka; Nepal, Bangladesh advance

Vishesh Bhriguvanshi scored 16 points to lead an all-round attack, as hosts India overwhelmed Sri Lanka 99-42 on Wednesday in the only Group A game in the SAARC Division qualifiers of the Middle Asia qualifiers for the 26th FIBA Asia Championship. Meanwhile, Nepal and Bangladesh won – both against Bhutan – to book their place in the semifinals from Group B. Nepal defeated Bhutan 79-53 and Bangladesh won 92-59.
